The writers and artists behind the excellent book FreeDarko Presents: The Undisputed Guide to Pro Basketball History gathered a few weeks ago at New York’s legendary Strand Bookstore. Will Leitch of Deadspin and New York magazine fame and SLAM editor Lang Whitaker also joined the gang to discuss basketball for an hour.
There are a few very interesting topics brought up (including JR Smith’s affinity for Everybody Loves Raymond), and Shoals at one point uses the worst sandwich metaphor I’ve heard in weeks. All in all, good times.
