And the Academy Award for Best Halloween Costume Inspired by an NBA Player Goes to …

I’ve known from afar for quite some time that Alana G is good people and that her blog is a good read. Everyone knows that. She’s been holding down the NBA intertubes community for some time with all sorts wonderful, including stuff like this phenomenal interview with every Both Teamster’s favorite three point-shooting power forward with a bald spot.

But while I was out in Vegas a few weeks back for Blogs With Balls, I had the pleasure of politicking with her a few times and was able to confirm that, indeed, she is good people. Still, unless you were one of the sports bloggers who was actually there and politely pretending you had heard of some website called Both Teams Played Hard, you can’t be sure I’m not lying. I have no reason to make up something like this, but I know yall blog readers are some cynical bastards who believe in nothing, so I imagine some of you do not trust me.

Well, skeptics, we now have empirical evidence that Alana is not only good people but that she won Halloween with her “Slutty Ronny Turiaf” costume. Stellar work.

Dude, this wins. My friend actually dressed up as Chris Kaman this year, but a slutty Rony Turiaf edges it out, barely. I’ll send you a picture as soon as I can find a good one.
