There’s really not much to say before tonight’s Game 4. Orlando needs to win. If they go down 3-1, the rest of this series becomes academic. If they win, it becomes a best of three. Of course, we could over-analyze everything and pretend it comes down to who wants it more or whatever other single thing you want to discuss, but aside from the few things that have proven to be the pivotal factors of the Finals (Pau plays very good defense, Phil runs lots of different looks at Dwight, Anthony Johnson hates life, Lamar and Rafer are wildly inconsistent, no one on Orlando can pass, Pietrus is French for “X factor,” Fish will never let the Lakers down when it matters, etc.), it’s just going to come down to who plays better for 48 minutes tonight.
That’s a simple way to look at it, I know, but there isn’t a lot left to break down after we’ve already seen each of these teams play 20 Playoff games over the past six weeks.
