Birdman Stay Fly

by Jared Wade on March 6, 2009 at 4:32 pm · 4 comments

Last night, Chris Anderson aka Birdman swatted the bejesus out of a weak layup attempt by former Slam Dunk Contest participant Rudy Fernandez. And while the block itself was pretty nice — especially since he volleyball spiked it off Rudy’s dome — the post-swat reaction is what really made this play monumental.

Of course, by watching the video you can see Bird’s theatrics in all their real-time glory. But only with the wonders of freeze-frame photography do you really get the full effect. I can’t wait to print these out and make a sweet flipbook. Should make a great Mother’s Day gift.

The Birdman kicks ass! I’m a Lakers fan, but what a player that man is.
