It's not like these guys actually have considerably shorter neck lengths; it's because of the high shoulder elevation that the neck seems to be non-existent. Somebody with a 'long neck' on the other hand, has very low sloping shoulders, but the neck length is still the same as somebody who has a normal or 'shortish' looking neck.
